See the Most Endangered Species and Celeb Residents
The zoo is a safe abode for some of the critically endangered animals as per the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List, including the Addax, Scimitar oryx, Saker falcon, and Egyptian vulture. It also hosts one of the world’s biggest groups of Arabian sand cats and Dama gazelles. You can even rub shoulders with some of its celeb stars: the graceful Rothschild’s giraffe, the Western Lowland gorilla and the ring-tailed lemur, each with its own unique characteristics and survival story.

Most Thrilling Wildlife Sessions
The zoo’s most enchanting segment is the Al Ain Safari, covering over 215 hectares. As it mainly represents one of the world’s most legendary ecosystems, you can witness the native African animals, including the iconic Big 5, wandering in their natural habitat. Depending on your ticket choice, you will set out on a 45-minute Truck Drive or 60-minute SUV ride across the section’s superbly maintained wildlife attractions. The celebrated Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre (SZDLC) is within the zoo’s premises. It’s the country’s first-of-its-kind facility to be awarded a five-pearl rating by the Estidama Pearl Rating System, and it also carries LEED Platinum certification. The main highlight is five galleries that take you from the region’s past to the present through various immersive attractions and activities.

Useful Information

• Some of the mentioned inclusions may remain closed on weekends or specific days as per the government norms for which we do not hold the responsibility.
• Summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months.
• We recommend carrying sunglasses, hats and sun protection cream.
• No strollers allowed inside the vehicles without prior information so please inform us at the time of making the reservation.
• An adult must accompany children from 3 to 12 years in the water in any of the water activities
• On Islamic occasions and National holidays, the tour will not serve alcohol, and there will be no live entertainment.
